Getting 10th place at Liberty Bell, which is one of the biggest cross country meets, is something I am extremely proud of. Going to state with my team for cross country my freshman year was another very proud moment for me."

What are your goals for this season?

"This year, I hope to go to state with my team for cross country, and make more personal records before I graduate."

How do athletics make you a better student?

"Being an athlete has helped me become a more confident student. I am able to work very hard in school as well as in sports."

What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?

"I use a lot of visualization and meditation right before races and even months leading up to a race."

What is the best part about competing?

"The best part about competing is seeing all the hard work pay off. You really don't know where you are until you run a race."

"I plan to attend college to study elementary bicultural education, and hopefully participate in cross country and track."

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

"'Need To by Corn."

What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?

"One slice of toast with peanut butter."
