Tell us about your greatest athletic achievement to date:

"My greatest athletic achievement is being the only freshman who made the varsity cheerleading team and helping my team become third in state this year."

 

What are your goals for this season? 

"My goals for this season are to become a better leader and to help my teammates be successful."

 

How do athletics make you a better student?

"Athletics make me a better student because they help me develop leadership skills and help me communicate better with other peers and my teachers."

What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?

"I like to do some breathing exercises and visualizations to help prepare myself." 

 

What is the best part about competing? 

"The best part about competing is bonding with my teammates and making memories with my team and seeing all the hard work we've put into our routine pay off."

 

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"I want to study Communication Disorders so that I can go on to become an audiologist."

 

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"Don't be afraid to join and have as much fun as you can in these four years."

 

What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

"I love to sing along and jam out to Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You". 

 

What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?

"Freeze dried strawberries and bananas are my favorite pre-competition snack!"
