Tell us about your greatest athletic achievement to date:

"My greatest athletic achievement to date is probably when I dunked over the point guard from Fort Morgan which happened a few weeks ago."

 

What are your goals for this season? 

"I would say the main goal for my senior basketball season was just to have fun and another was to win end our season with our record even or better."

 

How do athletics make you a better student?

"Athletics have made me a better student because I use it reduce my stress or just clear my mind."

 

What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?

"I try and clear my head to the best of my ability, because if you can't think while you are under pressure, then you will not perform well."

 

What is the best part about competing? 

"The best part about competing is the friends you make while you are competing or practicing."

 

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"After I graduate high school, I plan to go to Kansas State University and study agronomy and then after that, hopefully use that degree to help my grandparent with their farm in Kansas."

 

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"Advice for younger athletes would have to be join the sport no matter how skilled or talented you are. The worst thing is to not play and then regret it for the rest of your life. And if you end up not liking it, stick with it at least a season. Don't quit in the middle of a season because then you are more likely to quit when things get tough in the future." 

 

What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

"I would have to say my favorite/most listened to song before a game would have to be "Bank Account" by 21 Savage." 

 

What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?

"I don't really have a Pre-Competition food because if I eat before games it makes me sick. But, Post-Competition is McDonald's with the boys."
