The existing Greeley West building will be torn down in the summer of 2022. The $124 million, 280,000-square-foot high school is the largest of the District 6 bond projects.
Other bond projects include a large addition and renovation of McAuliffe STEM Academy and Chappelow Arts Magnet K-8 School, the rebuilding of Madison Elementary School, the new Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering currently under construction, safety and security upgrades at all schools, as well as new heating and ventilation systems, roofs, paint, flooring, ceiling tiles and asbestos removal at select schools.
