"I have made it to state in all of my sports and seasons except for one which was cross country my sophomore year."
What are your goals for this season?
"Make it to state for track."
How do athletics make you a better student?
"Athletics make me prioritize and learn time management to get homework done along with still getting extra reps in for basketball with practice."
What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?
"When under pressure, I zone every thing out and focus on whatever the task is."
What is the best part about competing?
"The best part about competing is pushing yourself to be better than that other person, and obviously, winning is always fun."
What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?
"I am committed to play basketball at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and studying to become a nurse."
What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?
"I would tell younger athletes to enjoy the experiences and practices. The four years go by really fast."
What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?
"I don't really have a favorite song to listen to before competing."
What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?
"A caesar salad and a protein shake for lunch, or the team would go out for lunch."
