Tell us about your greatest athletic achievement to date:

"Being a 23-24 State wrestling qualifier." 


What are your goals for this season? 

"My goals for this season are to become a leader on the team, set an example for the younger class, and be a family. I also hope to get better every single day, a step closer to my full potential with a positive mindset." 


How do athletics make you a better student?

"Athletics really helps manage my time better with school, gives me a greater motivation and increases my work ethic in the classroom."


What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?

"I set my mind to the mentality that 'I don't have to do this; I GET TO have this opportunity', block out all the noise, and remind myself of the purpose and what needs to get done." 


What is the best part about competing?

"Competing to the best of my potential, knowing that my hard work in the classroom and practice has paid off. Having the opportunity to compete against high competitors to learn something new every week."


What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"My plans after high school are to attend a four year university and medical school to obtain the job of being a trauma/vascular surgeon." 


What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"TRY everything you want to try, do it to the best of your ability, don't compare your progress to others but your own. Suffer, sweat, sacrifice, and focus all will come together the way you want it to." 


What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

"'Til You Can't' or 'Run This Town'." 


What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?

"A chocolate Belvita, banana, and rice cakes."
