Student Spotlight: Ayden Davis, Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering

Welcome to the District 6 Student Spotlight!  In this weekly series, we will highlight an exceptional student and the achievements that are making them successful in their schools.  These students were selected by their school staff and administration for going above and beyond with outstanding grades, work ethic, community service, and school involvement.  Congratulations to these students for the work they are accomplishing in and outside of the classroom.

Grade Level:

7th Grade



Last year, I had the opportunity to represent Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering in the NoCo Time Trails, sponsored by the Platte River Power Authority, by building and testing a solar powered car. I'm in the Gifted and Talented program, the Tointon Dream Team, and the Future Cities program. I currently have a 4.0 for the 2023-2024 school year, and have only missed two days of school. 


Clubs or Activities:

President of the Tointon Art Club called "Canvast". Member of the Tointon Afterschool Jazz Band Honor Club. I have also participated in the Student Council, robotics club, and leadership classes. 

Career/College Plans:

I want to work with art and 2D animation in my future. 

Favorite Subject:

I love social studies because it teaches me more about our world and why things are the way they are. 

Favorite Teacher:

Mrs. Ruby because she really encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone with art and gave me opportunities to share my work. Mr. Rushival is also a favorite teacher of mine because he gave me musical opportunities.

Personal Goals:

To help others succeed and to try and get my name in the history books. 

The Best Things About My School:

I like how accepting it is and the opportunities it gives kids.
