Mission:
Not technically an advisory council, but this committee does provide an opportunity for community outreach and engagement. The Citizens Academy is designed to help interested community members learn more about the district’s operations. Members commit to a year-long series of meetings. Each of the meetings in the series has a different focus area of study. Participants learn about the focus area and ask questions directly of the district staff in charge of that area.
