Mission:
The classified employee group is made of support staff members from across the district (bus drivers, maintenance workers, school cafeteria workers, teacher aides, health clerks,custodians, secretaries and office managers, etc.). The Council meets to discuss current work issues, initiatives and general concerns with representatives from human resources, payroll, benefits, budget/finance, and communications departments. Council is responsible for selecting the annual Classified Employee of the Year.

Members:
One classified employee representative from each school building and support office/department. Members are selected at each location by peers and supervisors.

Staff Facilitators:
Classified Council president (elected annually by Council members), Chief Operations Officer, Human Resources Director

Meeting Schedule:
One meeting per month during the school year, held on the first Wednesday of the month. Meetings held at 4:15 p.m.
