Welcome to Centennial Elementary
Centennial Elementary continues to focus on achievement. Our kindergarten and first grade students once again outperformed the district average in reading. Our direct instruction approach allows students to receive reading instruction at their own pace, always allowing students to move to a higher group if they need a challenge. Furthermore, our blended learning math blocks, which incorporates high levels of common core math, showed tremendous amounts of math growth for students in grades 3-5. It shows that challenging students to their greatest potential pays dividends. Lastly, our students understand what it takes to be successful in this ever-changing world in which we live, and they set goals to prepare them for the future.
Centennial Elementary is a remarkable school. Teachers in this building work extremely hard every day to help make our students successful. Centennial students understand what it takes to be a leader in our school and in our community, and they accept nothing less than their own personal best. Teachers challenge students by creating a collaborative atmosphere in the classroom. Students learn to work together, integrate technology, and solve real-world problems.
