Design Package
This document marks the completion of the Schematic Design Phase for the New Jefferson High School and District CTE Center. Jefferson High is named in honor of Thomas Jefferson, primary author of the Declaration of Independence and our nation's third president. Before becoming a high school facility in 2010, the existing building was an elementary school for more than 50 years. Now over a decade after opening, Jefferson High School is home to nearly 300 students each year. As part of the successful 2019 bond election, the students and staff of Jefferson High School will be moving into a new facility, designed for their unique needs. The new location for this facility is a former CDOT building and site that District 6 purchased. The building that housed shop space for CDOT will remain and be renovated to house three CTE programs that will be part of making this site a District Wide CTE program. The administration building and ancillary storage buildings will be demolished to make way for the construction of a new building that will house the Jefferson High School program.
